The Amazing Table Fort!

My mom is a wiz at almost everything! I saw ALMOST because the only thing I can think of that she isn't practically a professional at is making chocolate chip cookies...she overcooks them every time...but I almost think she does that on purpose so I'll have at least one thing I can (or usually Kevin) can make for her!

Anyway, she has been talking about making a card table fort for the kids for a while and when we came back from Paris she surprised us with the most amazing kitchen table fort! With our kids getting so big, she decided to make a larger table fort to accommodate more fun!

I love that she included Colin in the design of the fort! she asked him for his color preferences (he asked for a blue house with a yellow roof) and what he wanted inside and out. Colin asked for an apple tree, a fireplace with a fire in it, a chimney, and a big screen TV with Buzz and Woody playing. In addition, Nana made bushes with cute little bugs, a real window with working curtains, a flower pot with removable flowers, a mailbox with letters, and popcorn for his movie!
