Kevin's Stand-Up Debut!

Kevin made his stand-up comedy debut at our Ward Talent Show on Friday!

For two weeks Kevin wrote, rewrote, reworked, and practiced his set until the big day arrived.  He did an amazing job and while he isn't quitting his day job, he is looking for a local open mic night to try more material, get more experience, and have some fun!

Enjoy :)

Dallas Aquarium

The last time Kevin and I went to the Dallas Aquarium, Kevin was just an intern at GDC, we were still in law school, and we didn't have Colin...and I looked a heck of a lot younger!

As Colin get older, it is so much more fun to take him places!  He gets excited when he sees something and even though he can't talk yet, his full body excited shake tells us he is having a pretty darn good time.

We had a good time at the Aquarium:)

Colin is so snuggly!  I call him my little snuggle bunny.

Sometimes when he is snuggling, he will pat us on the back - it is probably the cutest thing I've ever seen!

Best pals!

At the Bell Farm

Kevin's Aunt Liz and Uncle Jim live about 90 miles from here and own about 24 acres of the coolest property in Texas!  They call it the Bell Family Farm and it is basically a children's dream! Tether ball, tractor rides, a play house, teeter totter, jungle gym, pool, catfish pond, slides, swings, and lots of room to run!

The Bells were gracious enough to invite us out for their Easter Egg hunt with the family and we had so much fun!

GDC's Easter Egg Hunt

On Friday, Kevin's law firm, Gibson Dunn, was having an Easter Egg hunt and lunch for all the families.

This being Colin's first real Easter Egg hunt, I wasn't really sure if he would get it.

Oh, he got it all right!

But first we visited dada's office and Colin went straight for the window.  He loved it!

and the Conference room window too!

Well, I wondered how a law firm was going to pull off an egg hunt and while it was definitely geared for young children, everyone really had a great time!

Get the egg...check!
Put in dada's bag...check!
I am so ready for the big leagues!

Enjoying lunch

Colin is going to pay the bills from now on!

Back to work!

To the Park!

In between sessions of Conference we all went to the park and walked around the lake.  We all had a great, albeit sweaty, time!  Texas is heating up!

This little dare devil goes down the slide all by himself!  He even goes face first sometimes!!

Twinners!

It was so much spending Conference Weekend with the Sharps!  The men went to Priesthood Session while us ladies wrestled the kiddos and then we all talked way too late!  Family sleep-overs are so much fun :)
On Sunday we all hung out in our comfy clothes and these little guys were wearing their matching pj's from Grandma Grady!

Colin is slowly but surely catching up to Dylan in size!  They are 8 months apart and soon we won't even notice the difference!  They had so much fun playing together all weekend.  We love having family close!

Baby Blake is SUCH a sweetheart!  He napped most of the day, but we all got some good cuddle time!
