We are so spoiled! When Kevin took his job at Mary Kay we knew it would be a big pay cut from the firm, but we had no idea that it would be made up with invites to so many fun events! With Kevin's status as an in-house attorney (meaning he is an attorney, presumably with hiring power, who works for a corporation in their legal department instead of a law firm) we have been invited to concerts, basketball and hockey games, parties, plays, and other fun events.
It has been SOOOO much fun!
The latest tickets to score?
KATY PERRY!
Yeah...it was an AWESOME concert! (Thank you Cheliuses!)
And we also got floor tickets to see the opening season game with the Mavericks vs Jazz (thank you Beuses!)
If we thought we were big shots hanging out at the American Airlines Center all the time, these cuties definitely remind us that we still have to wipe their dirty faces and bums!
We celebrated Kevin's birthday (33!!!) by going to Maggiano's with friends, Nothing Bundtinis at this office, and sushi with the kids (does that make us sound like yuppies, or what?) on his actual birthday!
We love the Hansen family. I love Cindy, Colin and Issac are the best of buddies, Reagan adores Isabel, and Kevin and Eric have so much fun together!
Eric, knowing that we have been in the plans to build a pool for next summer, bought Kevin a pool floaty. It was the best present and Kevin cannot WAIT to use it!
The kids loved eating noodles with chopsticks at the sushi place. Reagan did surprisingly well for not even being two (better than me, in fact!)
I love his sweet sleeping face...I know I won't get many more of these shots as he usually doesn't take naps these days.
This little monster loves her cookies! While Colin is picky, she loves them all!
Colin's school pictures crack me up! In one he is giving a "mad face," in another his winning smile, and in the last one he is winking!
We ordered the middle one.
One day I was putting away the toys in the play kitchen and found this frog in there. When I asked Colin about it, he told me that he wanted to keep the froggy warm! Ha!
