It's finally done! Everything is bought, washed, painted, and all we need is a baby to complete the picture.
In August, my mom flew out to help decorate the baby's room. We painted the top half of the room a sky blue and left the bottom half of the room a sandy color.
Then on two of the walls, my mom taped adorable stripes on the wall and got painting.
She painted every other stripe...
Then she taped over it and painted the stripes in between.

And it turned out AMAZING!
But we didn't stop there...we added a chair rail to clean it up a bit.

Then Kevin and I finally got around to buying everything and are so proud of how much money we saved by collecting a million coupons, waiting for the right sale, and then combining that with some other discounts we were able to negotiate. Yay for saving money!
And finally, the furniture came in and our brother-in-law Mike was nice enough to help Kevin pick it all up and put it together while Karen, Kate and I went to see "Tangled."
Lots of big boxes!

And now, I proudly introduce the finished baby's room!
See the cute Build-A-Bears? They represent some of Daddy's hobbies, etc. We have little lawyer bear, scuba bear (Kevin was certified last year and cannot WAIT to dive again!), and beach-bum bear (Kevin loves the beach)

Such a comfortable chair!

I love the bedding. While my mom was here, we shopped for the right fabric and she designed and sewed the most beautiful bedding. We have one lucky baby!

Can't wait to put a baby in that cute crib!
