A Little Bit of Virginia History
On Saturday, Kevin and I drove up to Richmond and went to the Confederate White House and Museum. It was really interesting to see Jefferson Davis' home and to learn more about the Confederate Army and Civil War history. We weren't allowed to take any pictures inside the home, so we tried to make up for that by taking a bunch in front of it!
And yes, I did expect the Confederate WHITE House to be white and not grey...I am not sure if the City of Richmond is to blame for poor upkeep of this historical building or if the building was always a yucky dingy grey color...oh well!
