Blessings in Triplicate

How often do you get to do three baby blessings at once?  On Reagan's one month birthday, Kevin gave Reagan a beautiful baby blessing in my home ward.  My brother, Steve, also did a fantastic job of blessing the twins and giving them similar, yet distinct blessings.  We were so fortunate to not only have most of my family present, but Kevin's parents as well.  They drove all the way down from Cedar City to be there and it was special to have them there.

Unfortunately, my dad had to go to the ER the night before (long story) and was still in the hospital when we blessed the "triplets."  I missed having him present, but was glad that my Papa Tom (my dad's dad) could be there in his stead.

Don't you love Reagan's dress?  It was both mine and my sisters and looked so cute on her!  It is a hand crocheted cream dress with a pink under slip and ribbons that my mom found in a Provo boutique when she was pregnant with Steve and didn't know if she was carrying a boy or a girl.  She had to wait until baby #3 to be able to use it!!

Family Pictures...the candids and the chaos

Do you see the amount of "Colin cheering" going on here?

Marshmallows keeping the kids in good spirits

Too much stranding around makes all the boys go a little crazy!

Trying to be a good boy!

Andrew was so cute!  With Bailey and Reagan screaming, he just rolled with it...such a cutie!

Mastro's

It is tradition for my brother, Steve, to go out to a super fancy meal right before he deploys (Steve is a U2 pilot in the Air Force).  This time, we all got to celebrate his "last meal" in style, compliments of Mom and Dad, who sent all of us kids and spouses to Mastro's Steakhouse for a lovely evening.  The food was beyond amazing (my favorites were the succulent rib-eye, creamed corn, and one to-die-for creme brulee!) and it was a fun excuse to leave the kids home with Nana, get dressed up, and try to squeeze my body into non-maternity clothes.

Be safe brother!

Chapman "Christmas" Morning

As families grow and move away, it becomes increasingly difficult to get everyone in one place at one time.  We were so fortunate to be able to pull off an early Christmas with my family complete with presents, food, and so much fun, not to mention enough babies for everyone to snuggle with!  We had 3 newborns...Reagan and my brother's twins, Andrew and Bailey.  It was quite a sight to look around the living room and see so many little ones!

Warning...I think almost every one of these pictures has a baby (or two!) in it!
