Camping with Cousins

When we got married, my Grandma Donna gave us a new tent as our gift...and we never opened it until now!

Colin has been wanting to go camping forever and the perfect opportunity presented itself and they finally got their chance!

Uncle Mike's boy scout troop was doing a camp out not far from Sunnyvale, and he was going and taking his sons - so Kevin and Colin joined in too!

Colin was thrilled about everything from setting up the tent and their chairs, making a fire, roasting marshmallows, and sleeping in the tent in their sleeping bags!

It was a perfect bonding time for them! Colin was so excited to sleep in his new sleeping bag, that he begged to go to bed and so they laid in their tent and talked for awhile before falling asleep. So sweet!

The next morning they packed up, picked up donuts, and ate them at home with me and Reagan. It was definitely a successful first trip!

Easter Festivities

Holidays are so much fun with little kids! Everything is so exciting and special. I love it!

Reagan is showing off her new outfit from Grandma

The kids participated in a fun egg hunt at New World and these two cuties were matching in their blue and yellow!

We also had a blast dying eggs!

The Easter bunny was generous again this year bringing Colin a baseball bat and tee and Reagan a new baseball glove and dress up shoes

Finding Eggs

The Sharps hosted a delicious Easter dinner complete with an egg hunt!
Reagan was thrilled!

March and April

Our March and April flew by in a series of rain and snow storms that slowed pool progress and kept us on our toes!

Reagan got sick and looked adorably pathetic :)

Kevin was promoted to Senior Counsel and I was pregnant and so so nauseated!
Time to celebrate!

This little non-napper seems to fall asleep somewhere every day - just not in her bed!

Colin had been praying for a baby brother and started practicing swaddling Reagan's babies

Wow...I can't look at this picture without tearing up. Colin was so excited for a baby. We hadn't told him yet that we were expecting but the look on his little face as he held his babies was too precious. He worked so hard to wrap them up tight and take care of them. Sweet boy

Enjoying lunch outside with my girl and her crazy hair!

We had so few sunny days this spring, we had to capture one!

Getting excited to swim!

We had the most amazing thunderstorms this spring! It was certainly epic! I took this picture one morning and I just loved how the clouds looked like a big fluffy comforter!

I am on the RS enrichment committee and we threw an amazing retro dinner party complete with casseroles, jellos, and banana pudding.  It was so stinking cute!

Isabel and Isaac came over for a play date and these two besties played dress up. These two love each other so much!

Napping with daddy before dinner.

Several of us gals threw a baby shower for a friend and it turned out so cute! The pool wasn't done as planned, but it looked great!

While doing some spring cleaning, I came across two old FILM cameras and let the kids have fun with them.  Colin kept asking, "how do I send this picture to Nana?"

Kevin is the Teacher's Quorum adviser and his boys are doing an "ultimate pinewood derby" so Kevin and colin got in on the action too! Colin painted this by himself and helped daddy sand it too.

Colin and Isaac obviously enjoyed their Jackson Pollack painting day, complete with a paint fight!

Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar? REAGAN stole the cookie from the cookie jar!

SNOW!!

Just after Nana and Papa left town, we were slammed with snow and freezing rain! In fact, for the next several weeks, all construction halted on the pool and we tried to console ourselves with extra hot chocolate and fun snowball fights!

This was my very first snowman ever!

Even Kevin got a snow day (or several!) and his snowman was quite impressive!
