Kaity's 80's Surprise Skate Birthday Party

What a RAD party!
I helped my good friend Kaity's husband, Andy, throw a surprise party for her and it was a total success!
Not only was it a totally awesome party, but Kaity was definitely surprised!

I sent out the invites, brought food, and the party favors (slap bracelets, shutter glasses, and jelly bracelets) and Kaity's sister Annie and Cindy handled the decorations.
Love the Pac-Man picture backdrop? SOOOO fun?

Surprise!!
Poor girl got dragged here as a guise for checking out some craigslist furniture for her cousin, Maggie's, new apartment.

After the surprise, Kaity got dressed up in the outfit Andy brought for her and it was time to party!

I think most people had fun dressing up and skating!

It was so stinking hot in there that we were all gross and sweaty by the end!

Kevin and I hadn't skated for years and it was so fun to hold his hand and skate to fun 80's music!
Love this guy!!

Art Day!

We had so much fun at the Art Day at Colin's preschool.  The entire school was decorated with the children's art work and the gym was filled with lots of fun art projects for the whole family!
Colin loved showing off his classroom and his "Brown Bear" book.

Even daddy participated!

Under the coconut tree!

Cousins and Tulips

The Sharps joined us in a trip to see the tulips at the Dallas Arboretum over Spring Break!
Poor Auntie Karen is just days from having a baby, but she was a trooper!

Colin is teaching his cousins how to make wet hand prints on the cement.

Beautiful Miss Kate was such a helper with the kids!

Reagan loves her independence! Aren't these peacocks AMAZING?

Rolling down the hill - doesn't that remind you so much of being a child?

The little missy loves to stuff her face!

Spring in the Arboretum? Always fun!

And then March was over!

We really have too much fun with our kids!

McDonalds with Daddy

She loves to read! Or rather, she likes to pull books off the shelf for us to read and then climb up on Daddy's lap for 2 pages and then she's off to find a new book! This picture is after story time - sometimes she likes it more than Colin!

A lovely spring bouquet from Miss Cindy :)

We "went to the movies" at the Larsens! The kids loved watching Despicable Me 2 in their own private theatre!

With this spring weather, we are constantly outside! We have to get our fill before it gets too hot!
They love to be outside! Reagan will even bring me her shoes during the day as a reminder that she wants out!

Steve Urkel!

These two are such goof balls!

Colin wants to go for drives in "Daddy's Black Car" all the time...sometimes it is enough to let him just sit in there! Daddy is so sweet and takes him for little drives so they can "Go FAST!"
Their favorite place to go? CVS Pharmacy, aka "The M Store!" Colin calls m&m candy "M's" and sometimes daddy takes him for a little candy run! So now he calls it the "M Store!"

If Colin is being especially good, he even gets to pick out a new dinosaur! His favorite is his Brachiosaurus!

I love (and hate!) noticing similarities between my kids and myself! Colin loves to dip his graham crackers in milk just like me! And like his OCD daddy, he likes to line them all up in a row!

Ah, baby tantrums! Aren't they the cutest!

I love when she matches her baby! She just loves her!

Colin calls every business we frequent a "store"...Grocery store, donut store, M Store, and the "French Fry Store!"  In'N Out doesn't have nuggets so he usually just eats french fries and something we pack for him when we go! On this trip, he confiscated all of our drinks for himself!
