Eleven Months

Baby Girl and I had a little photo shoot this morning with daddy serving as "baby entertainer"...and he did a great job!

My little girl! What can I say about this little girl that hasn't already been said?
She is such a doll and we absolutely adore her.
She is a happy, content, and funny little girl with lots of spirit and personality.

She is cheerful, sassy, and makes the funniest little sounds (lots of grunting and dada!)

She has a new tooth, making it a total of NINE teeth! Wowzers!
She is always chomping on her crib and anything else she can get in her mouth!
She is a great eater and can take down almost anything!

She is getting so tall! She wears size 18 months and sometimes 24 months!
Her new trick is clapping. She gets a HUGE grin on her face when she starts to clap!

Her hair in growing a little bit, but she still doesn't have much (hence the ever present bow)

She loves to buzz her tongue (aka spit!) and is standing up on everything and walks along furniture.

She thinks she is pretty hilarious!

We love this little girl!

Cake and Conference

The Sharps came over to watch Conference and celebrate Kevin's birthday. The kids had so much fun together - I just love watching the little cousins playing!

And not to brag, but the food was awesome! BBQ from Pecan Lodge (rated #1 BBQ in Dallas...yeah, it's really good!) and a Nothing Bundt chocolate cake.

Happy birthday, Babe!!

Texas State Fair

Another year, another fun trip to the fair!
We love going to the fair and trying all the fun fried foods. We try a little bit of everything and while most of it is just meh, sometimes you eat something truly amazing!

Of course it was super hot the day we went!

Colin had so much fun on the little rides he went on!  He's getting so big! He goes on rides all by himself!

Kevin's favorite = Fried Cuban Roll

Autumn at the Arboretum

We finally got around to getting a family pass to the Dallas Arboretum. It is such a beautiful place, especially in the spring and fall.  Colin loves our picnics there and seeing the waterfalls.

The kids were pretty cooperative in picture taking...They may not have looked at the camera at the same time, but they didn't have a meltdown...small victories!

The kids love the pumpkin houses!

Such a beautiful place!

Big Time Birthday Parties

Colin's been a little spoiled lately with fancy birthday parties!

Petting zoo and pony rides? A huge hit!

Reagan had a ball at Gymboree!

September Randomness

Kevin was able to snag some free great baseball tickets super last minute, so I rushed Colin to meet him for the game.  They only lasted one inning! The loud sounds and cheers freaked Colin out.  He was clinging to Kevin and whimpering "go home?" so Kevin gave in and left.

I guess he just isn't ready yet.

Reagan is still my little cutie!

A group of us gals went to Cheesecake Factory for my birthday and my friend Monica and I were opposites!

I was watching little Sophie and Penny for my friend Kaity and i loved watching Reagan pretend to be a big girl!

Dallas Heart Walk

A few weeks ago, the Sharpies invites us to tag along on the Dallas Heart Walk.  Walk a 5K? Easy Peasy, right? WRONG!

It was hotter than blazes and was so crowded it was impossible to take a step without hitting someone (most likely your own group).

It was fun hanging with the Sharps and being part of something so big, though!

After the walk, naps were had by all followed by fun hang out time :)

As Kevin says, Colin is the only one that makes him look good at soccer!
