Naked Baby Pics!

I am so in love with this baby!  She is such a little angel :)
She was a doll during her photo shoot and I love how our photographer Stacie captured her sweet nature.

The Luckiest Boy in the World! aka Colin Goes to Disneyland!

I love Disneyland!  With the park only 25 or so minutes away from our home, we got to go pretty regularly and we loved it.  Kevin and I love to go and when Colin was a little guy, we left him with Nana and had a blast just us.  Well, since he is now old enough to go on and appreciate some of the rides, and he is still free, we decided to take him with us.  We also had Uncle Kevin and Aunt Jessica and Auntie SeeSee there to entertain him, which was a life saver!  Thanks guys!

He was a big fan of the choochoo (the tram in and out of the park)

He didn't like the crowds or the lines

Jungle Cruise was a huge hit!

Funny story...while we were on Jungle Cruise the couple sitting next to us was an older Asian couple.  Well, I noticed they were taking a bunch of pictures in our direction and at one point I saw her camera view finder.  She had been taking pictures of Colin!  Flattering, but I am not sure if I should be okay with that or not...

Pirates was a little too dark, scary, and long for Colin

Autopia made Colin's day!

At one point during the ride he turned to Kevin and said "Tank you Dada, tank you!" because he was so happy.  So adorable!

Hitting up the New Orleans Cafe for lunch with their amazing Monte Cristo sandwhich

Falling asleep in Toon Town

Do you want to see what bad parenting looks like?  Feast your eyes on us taking Colin on a roller coaster that he is barely tall enough for!

Now, right after we stepped off the ride, Colin turns to me and says "whoof!" (his sigh of relief)
He sure does recover fast!

We stayed until late afternoon with Colin and then dropped him off at home, took a much needed nap, and then headed back just us for the evening.

We went on Splash Mountain twice in a row without even getting off the log!

My sissy of a husband!  Love you!

SeeSee's (Stacie) Birthday

My kids have lots of awesome aunts and uncles.  Seriously, they are so spoiled!  But for some reason, Colin will only say one of their names, or one name at all (including his own!) - SeeSee - for Stacie.  He just loves his Auntie SeeSee!  In all fairness to Colin's other aunts and uncles who may be reading this, Stacie did babysit him for a week while we were in Hawaii, but I still think it is weird that he refuses to say any other name.  Oh well!

Stacie had her birthday while we were home and Nana sent me and her off for a spa day at the Glen Ivy Spa in Brea.  We drank hot tea, put cold cucumbers under our eyes, got pedicures, sat around in fluffy robes, soaked in a hot tub, and had a great time catching up just us girls.  Thanks Nana!

Travelling With Kids...

...is really tough.  It just is.  You have to bring a crazy amount of stuff for them, they are hard to keep entertained and in good spirits, and it seems that there just aren't enough hands to get all the bags, grab the iPad, change the diaper, pick up the thrown sippy cup (again), keep the toddler from kicking the seat in front of him, all the while keeping the binky in the baby's mouth and staying sane.  But we made it.

Travelling with a 3 week old and a 2 year old is kind of nuts, but we had a great time and our flight to California was actually quite enjoyable.  Meaning, the plane was practically empty!  We had the entire back of the plane to us and Colin even fell asleep!  Whoo hoo!

Packing the baby too!

At one point, both kids were asleep.  Ah, bliss!

Thank you "mapah" (iPad)!

Oh Nana!

I have wonderful parents, and my kids have wonderful grandparents!
I am so lucky to have a mom who can come and help take care of us while I am getting back on my feet.
She was here for about 2 weeks and she made making the transition from one to two a whole lot easier!

Thank you mom!  We love Nana!

Baby DeeDer (Sister)

Colin is really coming around on "Baby Deeder"

He loves to give her kisses and check on her when she is crying, but then at other times, I think he likes to pretend that she doesn't exist.

See...ignoring Reagan and watching the iPad

But then he loves her!

First Bath

Hello World!
Sorry for the lack of posting!  We were out of town for a month and then the evil people at Time Warner Cable decided that they wouldn't get around to fixing our severed cable and internet lines for an entire week!  So we will be playing catch up for the next little bit.

When little Reagan was about a week old, Nana gave her her first bath, with lots of help from Colin!
